The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, August 27, 2014 David Cox, born Dec. 19, 1929, in Berkley, Mich., to James Cox and Margaret Ferguson, passed away on Aug. 19, 2014, at the Prescott Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. David was in the Navy for three years and while in Greece he met and later married Mary, his wife of 61 years. He graduated from ASU and was an English teacher. He volunteered for the Red Cross and also at the library and the Lovac Institute, tutoring students. He is survived by his wife; a brother-in-law; and several nephews and nieces.
