Sterling Scott passed away on Friday, Aug. 29, 2014, at the age of 91. He was born in Texas.

Sterling served as a marine sniper during WWII. He lived in Prescott Valley, Ariz., for three years.

He is survived by his wife; two sons; four grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
