The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, September 03, 2014 Sharon Erickson, 71, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., born Dec. 7, 1942, in Thief River Falls, Minn., passed away Sept. 1, 2014, in Prescott, Ariz. Services will be 3 p.m. Sept. 3, 2014, at Chino Valley Funeral Home. Arrangements by Chino Valley Funeral Home. ~~~~~~~~~~ Sharon (Ford) Erickson, age 71, passed away on September 1, 2014 in Prescott Valley, Arizona. Sharon was born on December 7, 1941. She married Ellwood Erickson of Cohasset, MN on May 26, 1962. She was previously employed as a nurse by the Grand Rapids Clinic and Itasca Memorial Hospital as well as in California, Virginia and the Philippines where her husband was stationed in the Sea Bees. Preceding her in death were her husband, Ellwood in 2012; parents; brother, Michael Ford in 2014; brothers-in-law, Richard Rahier in 2014; and Ralph Erickson (and wife Dorothy). She is survived by son, Kevin (Brenda) Erickson; daughter, Lisa (Guy) Gates; also four grandchildren; brother Terry (Julie) Ford; sisters Carolyn Rahier, Lorna (Vernon) Peterson and numerous nieces and nephews. Interment will be at the National VA Cemetary in Prescott, AZ with her deceased husband Chief Petty Officer, Ellwood Erickson.
