Silver Creek Mortuary, Taylor, Arizona Leland Wade Johnson (October 2, 1960 - August 30, 2014) Leland Wade Johnson went home to be with the lord on August 30, 2014 as he was surrounded by loved ones in his home after fighting a battle of illness. He was born to Russel Johnson and Maryle Johnson Pervette on October 2, 1960. Leland grew up in Snowflake, Arizona. He was a two time state champion wrestler. He had three wonderful children who were his pride and joy. Throughout his children’s childhood he would loce to spend time with them. They would engage in such activities as hide and go seek, basketball, video games and so much more. He was Married to his lovely wife Barbara Johnson for almost 22 years. He was a devoted Christian. Leland once said to never grow up and always be a bit of a kid in your heart. He is survived by his mom: Maryle Johnson; Wife: Barbara Johnson; children: Christopher Johnson, Cassandra Johnson and Brian Johnson; Brothers and sisters: Dale Johnson, Steve Johnson, Renee Johnson, Tracy Johnson, Randy Johnson and Kevin Johnson. He is preceded in death by his father: Russel Johnson and Mary Dell Parsons.
