The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Friday, September 05, 2014 Martha Madeline Rafters, 99, of Prescott, Ariz., passed away Aug. 26, 2014. She was born July 11, 1915, in Waxahacai, Texas, to Thomas Martin and Fannie (Scott) Orange. Martha was a loving wife, mother and grandmother, and loved collecting rocks. She was preceded in death by her husband, James T.; son James D.; and granddaughter Katie. She is survived by son Steven (Kathi) Rafters; grandchildren Heather, Cody, and Eileen Rafters, Jimmy (Sherrie) Rafters, and Melanie Landry; niece Peggy Coulter; and 11 great-grandchildren. Donations may be made to Good Samaritan Society Hospice. Hampton Funeral Home assisted with arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
