Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona, Friday, September 05, 2014 Marvin “Jinx” Bansbach, 75, of Flagstaff, AZ passed away peacefully at home in his wife’s arms on Monday, September 1, 2014. Jinx was born May 31, 1939 to Marvin, Sr. and Hazel Mae Banbach in Boston, MA He enjoyed camping, traveling, tube rafting down the Verde River and building off road vehicles. He also enjoyed operating Ham Radios (K7YVS) but most of all he loved spending time with his wife exploring new places. Jinx was a very hard working, outgoing, cherished husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He always had a silly joke to and was always fun to be around. He will be missed by many especially his wife. Jinx is survived by his loving wife, Leslie Bansbach, son Richard Nelson, stepdaughter Brenda Swearingin, stepsons Ryan Cannell, Clayton Cannell and Steve Cannell, 2 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild, sister Virginia Watson. He is preceded in death by his parents Marvin, Sr. and Hazel Mae and sisters Doris and Evelyn. A Celebration of life will be held at his home Saturday September 6, 2014 at 2:00 pm.
