Joseph William Phelps passed away Aug. 28, 2014 at the age of 57. He was 
born to David and Joan (Atchie) Phelps, Sept. 17, 1956 in Watertown, 
N.Y.

Joseph was a self-employed contractor for most of his life. He enjoyed 
restoring old muscle cars and loved playing music with his beloved 
children.

Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Susan Phelps; sons, 
Joseph (Amanda) Phelps of Bardstown, Ky., David (Stacey) Phelps of 
Bardstown, Ky., Matthew Phelps of Bonners Ferry, Idaho and Benjamin 
Phelps of Louisville, Ky. He also leaves behind six grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Beacon 
of Hope Hospice at 500 Lake Havasu Ave. #B106, Lake Havasu City, AZ 
86403, in honor of Joseph’s memory.

Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & 
Crematory.
