West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona, Friday, August 29, 2014 William G. Aiken Jr., 73, of Goodyear died Aug. 10, 2014, at his home in Goodyear. Mr. Aiken was born Dec. 22, 1940, in Westfield, Mass., to William and Elizabeth Aiken. He received his bachelor's degree in pharmacy from Hampden College of Pharmacy in 1962. He was a board member for Woronoco Bank. He co-owned the Clinton Pharmacy for 23 years. He served in the 104th Tactical Fighter Group of the Massachusetts Air National Guard. He is survived by his wife, Carol Heiden Aiken; one son, William E. Kieda of Springfield, Mass.; two daughters, Roxanne K. Pomeroy of Avon, Conn., and Lisa Marie Picazo of Avondale; two sisters, Sally Anderson of Phoenix and Marion Spitzer of Westfield, Mass.; and six grandchildren. A memorial service was held Aug. 24. Memorials can be made to the Westfield YMCA.
