TOY, Kim (China Mary)


Arizona Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Friday Morning, March 5, 1909, page 4, column 5 Chinese Woman Dies After a lingering illness of several months, Kim Toy, known in the Chinese quarter as 'China Mary,' died yesterday morning at 4 o'clock in her apartment in the Chinese quarter. She was 68 years old and a native of Hong Kong, China. Her residence here dates back a quarter of a century. Her remains were taken in charge by the Ruffner undertaking establishment to be prepared for interment. -------------- Transcriber's note: Mrs. Toy is buried at the Citizens Cemetery in Prescott, Arizona, but there is no headstone marking her exact place of burial.
