Elizabeth Ann Passmore Hook, 80, of Prescott, Ariz., passed away on Sept. 5, 2014. Elizabeth was born in Prescott, Ariz., on May 11, 1934.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Hester Walcott Passmore and brother Charles.
She is survived by her husband, Thermon "Jack" Hook; her children, Linda Hook-Conway, Larry (Kim) Hook and Patty (Wes) Lee; four grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
Elizabeth was a great granddaughter of Charles and Ida Smith Genung. Charles settled in Peeples Valley in the 1860s, and helped pioneer the Arizona Territory. She enjoyed getting together with family at the ranch in Peeples Valley during holidays and branding season. Elizabeth never resided further than 125 miles from her birthplace.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who loved being surrounded by her family. She enjoyed all of the children's and grandchildren's sporting events and attended as often as possible. She loved all animals and was kind to all who knew her.
She will be greatly missed. A private family service will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Justin Boot Cowboy Crisis Fund appreciated.
