FACKLER-MONTGOMERY, Tamela (Tammy)


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Tuesday, September 09, 2014 Tamela (Tammy) Fackler-Montgomery passed away peacefully and went into the arms of The Lord on Saturday, Sept. 6, 2014. Tammy was 51 years old. Tamela was preceded in death by her dad, William Foreman and her sister Mary Elizabeth. Tamela is survived by her husband, Donald Montgomery; her mother, Shirley Hernandez; her brother, Michael; her sister, Regina; her twin sister, Pamela and Jack, her brother-in-law. Pamela, Jack and Don lovingly cared for Tammy during her illness. Tamela is also survived by her son, Greg Zimmerman; and her daughter Alisha Zimmerman, whom she absolutely adored. Tamela had many grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews, all of whom she loved dearly. Tamela was born in Las Vegas, Nev., but spent the majority of her life in Eagle River, Alaska. Tammy moved to the Prescott area in 2000, and had spent the last seven years as a union pipeliner, which allowed her to travel over the lower 48. Tammy had a number of very dear friends from all over the U.S. and Canada. Her family and friends will miss her smile, her laughter, her kindness and her caring ways. She had a knack for telling a joke and always lit up a room when she walked in. Graveside services will be at noon on Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, at the Heritage Memorial Park, 12000 Heritage Memorial Lane in Dewey, Ariz. A memorial service for Tammy will be in Eagle River, Alaska, at a later date.
