West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona, Tuesday, August 26, 2014 Michael Mark Pevonka, 66, of Goodyear died Aug. 12, 2014, at his home. Mr. Pevonka was born Jan. 31, 1948, in Dekalb, Ill., to Bernard and Irene Pevonka. He was an all-state in football, baseball and basketball at Dekalb High School. He was worked as a business owner. He was a member of the Kishwaukee County Club, the Elgin Country Club, the Elks Club, the Moose Club and the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Pevonka; and one brother, Edward Pevonka. Private services were held. Memorials can be made to Season Hospice.
