The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, September 10, 2014 Grace M. Smith died Sept. 6, 2014, in Prescott. She was born Oct. 10, 1922, in Los Angeles, Calif., the daughter of Leo and Sylvia (Morse) Gleason. Grace was 91 years old. Grace was a life long active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Parish. She founded the school library and served as the volunteer librarian for many years. Grace also tutored and helped with hot lunches. Grace was a charter member of the Clarets, was a member of the altar society, the funeral ministry and a coffee server on Sunday mornings. If Grace was not at Sacred Heart School or Church you would see her walking all over downtown, sometimes with her four legged friend. She enjoyed her grandchildren and helping to raise the twins. Grace is survived by her son Brian (Linda Houts) Smith; daughters Mary Pat (Rick) Sharp and Anita (Larry) Davidson; five grandchildren; and one great granddaughter. Rosary service at will be at 6 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 11, 2014, at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez in Prescott, with visitation one hour prior. A funeral Mass will be 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 12, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury St., Prescott.
