Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, September 10, 2014 - Gordon N. Keen “Big Gordon”, 87, passed away Sept. 4, 2014 in Lake Havasu City. He was born Feb. 10, 1927, in Bridgeton, Maine, to Gordon and Elva Keen. Gordon married Jean Ellis in 1948 and together they had three children, Gordon “Little Gordon”, Patricia and Mark Keen. During WWII Gordon served in the military as a Merchant Marine as an oiler. After serving, he worked for Central Maine Power Company until his retirement. He then traveled the continental US on his motorcycle, choosing to live in Lake Havasu City for the past 30 years, where he was involved with Calvary Baptist Church and Square dancing. Gordon is survived by his love, Rose Miller of Lake Havasu City; children, Gordon, Patricia and Mark; siblings, Della Libby, Dail Bachelder and Sharon Bartlett; eight grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
