Ellen Rose Piche, 71, passed away Aug. 15, 2014 from natural causes.
Ellen was born Jan. 8, 1943 to Ernest and Cathrine All. She grew up in
southern California with her parents and younger sister.
On March 21, 1961, Ellen met the love of her life, Bob Piche (Pooch).
Ellen and Pooch were married Feb. 10, 1962. They made their home in
Carson before moving to Cerritos in 1975.
Ellen was an avid bowler. She loved camping with her family and friends.
She even tried her hand at motorcycle racing for a short time. Ellen
loved to paint and even won awards at local art shows for her paintings.
In 1993, Ellen and Pooch moved to Lake Havasu City. She continued to
bowl and became an Elkette at the Lake Havasu Elks Lodge. Ellen loved
spending time on the lake with friends and family, especially her
grandchildren.
Ellen is survived by her sons, Bobby (Carrie) and Scott (Stacey); her
mother; two grandchildren and two step-grandchildren and many people who
considered her a surrogate mother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her father, her sister, and
her son James.
Memorial services have not yet been scheduled.
Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
