Thomas "Tom" Valadez of Kingman died Aug. 5, 2014, at the age of 45. He
was born in California on March 18, 1969, to Anthony Valadez and Mary
Rubal Valadez.
Tom was a graduate of Cal-Poly University, a member of IBW Local No. 357
and IBW Local No. 11, and worked as an electrician for Mercado Mineral
Park Mine in Chloride.
He loved to hunt, fish, and was an avid outdoorsman; he was a member of
the Moose Lodge of Kingman.
On April 24, 2010, in Safford, Ariz., he married Monica Saldana, who
survives him. Tom is also survived by his children, Elizabeth Valadez of
Montclair, Calif.; Sergio Pizarro of Walnut, Calif.; Christina and
Dakota Valadez, both of Kingman; and his brother, Anthony Valadez, of
Chino, Calif.
Preceding him in death were his parents and one brother.
Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated 10 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, at
Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Willcox, Ariz. Interment of his cremated
remains will follow in Bonita Cemetery, Bonita, Ariz. You may express
