Sylvia "Nicki" Sutterfield of Kingman went home to the Lord on Aug. 31,
2014. Nicki was born Sept. 19, 1986, in Kingman to Devlin and Becky
Clouse and her big sister Jonetta. She entered the world two minutes
ahead of her twin sister, Chelsey.
The family moved to Oklahoma City in 1993 and resided there until 2003.
Nicki moved back to Kingman for a short while before returning to
Oklahoma to marry Christopher "Brecc" Sutterfield Dec. 12, 2003. The
couple had two children: Jonathan "Nathan" and Savannah "Anna." Nicki
moved back to Arizona to be close to her family in 2013.
Nicki had a loving and fiery spirit, she was generous and loyal, a joy
for all of her family and friends. Nicki trained and worked as a
certified nurse's assistant in both Oklahoma and Arizona. Her passion
was taking care of people and she aspired to be a registered nurse. Her
biggest love was for her children and she was a wonderful mother. Nicki
will be missed here on Earth, but her family finds comfort in knowing
that Nicki is now in Glory and she awaits the arrival of her beloved
family.
Nicki is survived by her husband, Brecc Sutterfield, and their children,
Nathan (10) and Anna (7); her parents, Devlin and Becky Clouse; her
sister, Jonetta (Nicholas) Schrick; her twin, Chelsey (Tony) Varela;
Chelsey's daughters, Aliyah and Amery Varela; her grandmother, Barbara
Clouse; her father- and mother-in-law, Brett and Ginger Sutterfield; her
sisters-in-law, Tabitha and Asher Sutterfield; her brother-in-law, Pete
(Sarah) Sutterfield, and their children, Alex, Benjamin, Joshua and
Lucas; and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Nicki had a very active work
and social life and leaves behind an extensive network of friends.
Nicki was preceded in death by her grandfather, Coy Clouse; her
grandfather and grandmother, John "Sandpaper" and Katherine "Kathy"
Medlin; as well as various aunts, uncles and cousins.
A celebration of the life of Nicki Sutterfield will be held at Kingman
Christian Church, 2820 Gordon Ave., at 4:30 p.m. Friday. Friends and
family are invited to attend.
In lieu of flowers, her family requests that donations be made to the
Nicki Sutterfield Donation Fund at National Bank of Arizona.
