HALVERSON, Arthur George

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, September 12, 2014 Arthur George Halverson passed away quietly in West Bend, Wis., Monday, Sept. 8, 2014. Born March 9, 1924, he was 90 years old. Art lived in the Chino Valley and Prescott, Ariz., area for almost 34 years. Art was a naval aviator who served in WWII and Korea and retired with the rank of commander after 25 years active and reserve service. He was a retired systems engineer with the FAA. Art was predeceased by his wife of 38 years, Joanne, and leaves four children; two grandchildren; brothers Mickey and Jim; and numerous nieces and nephews. Information provided by survivors.
