The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, Arizona Wednesday, September 17, 2014 Marshall Heath On Sept. 13, Marshall Heath was relieved of his earthly struggles and pain. Born Nov. 5, 1938, in Worcester, Mass., to Pate Jesse T. and Emma(Johnson)Heath, he grew up in Webster, Mass., graduating from Bartlett High School in 1957 and attended Worcester Jr. College. He was a machinist by trade. In 1962 he married Melanie Widing and fathered three children, Carlene of Sammamish, Wash., Craig (Neicia) of Wickenburg and Clayton (Brenda) of Prescott Valley. His grandchildren are Alex, Adam, Abby and Aaron Chmaj, Misty Evans, Wesley, Gunnar Emily and Tyler Heath and great- grandchildren are Samantha, Aunna and Bryce Evans. In 1979 the family moved to Wickenburg and he became a real estate appraiser in the Wickenburg area until retirement in 2007 due to declining health. Marshall served in the Massachusetts Army National Guard and was a member of American Legion Post #12. A Master Mason of 51 years with dual membership Rufus Putnam Lodge, Rutland, Mass., and Peoria Lodge in Arizona. He is also survived by brother Richard, of Rio Nido, Calif., Raymond, Hava of Florida, sister Nancy, of Portland, Ore., sister-in-law Karen (Gerald) Hyson and several nieces and cousins. He was preceeded in death by his parents and nephew Hans Hyson. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sept. 28, conducted by Pastor Rodney Hackett at the Seventh Day Adventist Church, 970 N. Tegner St. in Wickenburg. Arrangements are under the direction of David’s Desert Chapel and Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family is requesting donations go to the Shriner’s Hospital in Springfield, Mass.
