George Louis Negron passed away peacefully at his home, with his family
by his side, Sept. 14, 2014. He was born April 14, 1933, to the late
Primo and Ana Negron, in San Juan, Puerto Rico.
In is early twenties, George moved from New York to California, where he
met and later married his true love, Ann Carol Gallagher; the two raised
a beautiful family together. The Negron’s stayed in Westminster, Calif.,
for 35 years and then relocated to Lake Havasu City, in 1997.
George was in the United States Air Force during the Korean conflict,
serving as a Staff Sergeant. He took his duties very seriously as a
Senior Aircraft Mechanic. Later in life, George became a pilot himself.
After receiving his Master’s Degree from West Coast University, George
made a career as a mechanical engineer and manager for Boeing. George
was a true academic and a PhD candidate. He was always honest and
constantly set a good example for his family. He was a saved Christian
and loved the Lord Jesus. He always made his family proud.
In his free time George loved to play golf and was on many bowling
leagues throughout the years. He was also an active member of the ELKS.
George is survived by his loving wife, Ann; sons, Keith and Mike Negron;
daughters, Susan Negron and Carol Thomas; and sister, Anna Corby. He
will be deeply missed.
Burial will take place in Santa Ana, Calif., at Fairhaven Memorial Park.
Services are pending.
