Gregg Alan Deam, 52, of La Quinta, Calif., passed away Sept. 12, 2014 in
La Quinta, Calif. Gregg was born June 27, 1962, to Skeet and Diane Deam
in San Bernardino, Calif.
He was the manager of Mollers Garden Center for 10 years and an award-
winning artist.
He was chosen as one of the hundred artists and celebrities to paint a
statue of a Big Horn Sheep for “Path of the Bighorn,” a public arts
project for the Coachella Valley. His can be seen at the Gardens of El
Paseo. He was also a member of the Havasu Art Guild in Arizona. He
enjoyed painting, dancing, gardening, fishing, camping and time with his
family; especially his two dogs, Mr. Pickles and Maxine.
Gregg was a loving son, partner, brother, uncle and friend. He is
survived by his partner, Raymond Brinkman of La Quinta, Calif.; parents,
Skeet and Diane Deam of Lake Havasu City; and brother, Wesley A. Deam of
Hesperia, Calif.
He was well known by his friends and family as a Social Media Icon. His
sudden passing has left an emptiness in all of our hearts.
A celebration of life service will be at La Quinta Country Club,
Saturday, Sept. 20, from 5 to 8 p.m.
