Betty Jean Lindley, age 82, a resident of Mohave Valley, Ariz. passed
away on Sunday, September 14, 2014. She was born in Rifle, Colo., where
she lived until her family relocated to Riverside, Calif. in 1942.
Betty enjoyed a successful career as a RN, retiring in 1985 as Director
of Nursing at Circle City Hospital in Corona, Calif. Betty and her
husband, Darrell Lindley, moved to Mohave Valley in 1989, where they
spent many carefree years traveling across the country in their motor
home and square dancing with the "Desert Twirlers: in Bullhead City,
Ariz. and the "Colorado River Roamers" Good Sam RV Club, also in
Bullhead City.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Ruth Wright; and a
sister, Norma Nichols.
Betty is survived by her husband of 31 years, Darrell Lindley; one
daughter, Therese Johnson of Riverside, Calif.; two sons, Ronald (Teresa
Mulcahy) Barry of Yorba Linda, Calif. and Thomas (Eileen) Johnson of
Riverside, Calif.; stepson, Rick (Maletta) of Stanton, Calif. ;
stepdaughter, Darla (Pat) Delahunty of Riverside, Calif.; nine
grandchildren, Heather, Allison, Charlene, Damian, Zoe, Jack, Jeffrey,
Kerry and Kevin; and nine great-grandchildren, Jarrett, Trey, Sam,
Reagan, Shain, Logan, Adam, Hayden and Charlotte.
Betty will be cremated by the Neptune Society at Dimond & Sons in
Bullhead City. Her family will celebrate her long life at a later date.
