Angela Kristine Bennett, 33, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 17, 2014, at Yavapai Regional Medical Center in Prescott, Ariz.
Angela had a zest for life. If you were fortunate enough to be a member of her very large circle of friends and family, you already know how your life has been blessed just by knowing her. Her smile not only lit up the room, it was infectious.
Angela had many loves in her life, but no greater love than that of her best friend, her soul mate and husband, Leigh, and the rest of her family. One of the most generous angels on Earth, if there was a need, Angela was there. There was no limit to what she would do for others.
Angela leaves behind her husband, Leigh Bennett of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; her mother, Melody Rivera of Humboldt, Ariz.; her father and stepmother, Douglas and Laurie Rafferty of California; grandmother Edith Remley of Prescott; grandparents Donald and Beverly Rafferty of California; brother and sister-in-law Daniel and Tina Rafferty of California; sister and brother-in-law Alythea and Mike Weidenbacher of Humboldt; brother Stephen Rivera of Humboldt; eight stepsisters, Brenda Hussen of Colorado, Melissa Rafferty of Japan, Kimberly Schuette of California, Naomi Ford of California, Rosalinda Rafferty of California, Amanda Young of Iowa, and Andrea King of Tucson; six stepbrothers, Mark Schuette of Pennsylvania, Richard Freeze of California, Carlton Freeze of California, Chuck Freeze of Washington, Eric Freeze of California, and Micah Choaté of Califonia; the apple of her eye, her godson Raiden; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
Her smile, her kindness, and her genuine caring for others will be sorely missed.
A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 20, at Acorn Montessori School in Prescott Valley. The family humbly requests donations to cover medical and final expenses in lieu of flowers.
