GALLARDO, Dora Alice

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Saturday, September 20, 2014 Dora Alice Gallardo 1920 - 2014 Dora Alice Gallardo, daughter of Lupe and Aureilio (Al) Gallardo, born at the family her home at 668 Verde Avenue on April 6, 1920, passed away in her sleep at her son's home in Bend, Oregon, on September 7 at 4:54 in the morning. Dora along with her parents and brothers, now deceased, were born in Jerome and Tempe, Arizona, respectively; all were married in the Holy Family Catholic church at Jerome, Arizona. Her grandparents were also born in Tempe, Arizona. Dora is survived by her two sons Robert F. Ornelas, who resides in Corona, California, and Raoul A. Ornelas, Merchant Marine Captain and marine pilot, at Bend, Oregon, respectively. Under trying circumstances my mother was an outstanding Mother. May she rest in eternal peace. Forever I will miss her terribly. Information provided by survivors.
