Charles “Chuck” Victor Burns

Charles (Chuck) Burns passed away on Sept. 8, 2014 at his home in Payson, Ariz. with his wife, family and close friends by his side. He was born on June 11, 1950 in Holton, Kan., he was just 64 when he lost his battle with renal cell cancer.
Chuck is survived by his wife of 45 years, Leslie; his sister, Lorrie; his son, Charlie, and his wife, Tracey; his son, Tom, and his wife, Anna; his daughter, Tina; his six grandchildren, Michael, Sarah, Anthony, Alicia, Gabrielle and Jacob; and his great-grandson Jaxson; as well as his brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews and many loving friends.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Dorothy; his sister, Judy; and brother, Jim.
Chuck and Leslie moved to Payson upon their retirement in 2007. Chuck was an avid outdoorsman and loved going 4-wheeling. He became president of the Rim Country 4-Wheelers, where he planned many runs for the club and organized trail cleanups to preserve the beauty of the Rim Country.
Chuck was a great leader, friend, father and husband and he will be missed by all of his family and friends.
There will be no public services for Chuck.
