GAYLOR, Barbara Ann

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Tuesday, September 23, 2014 Barbara Ann Burris Gaylor, of Cottonwood, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2014. She was 78 years old. Barbara was born on October 9, 1935 in Burley, ID to Noan Edgar and Edith Mazelle Phillips Burris. She attended school in Northfork, VA and Guam and attended BYU. She worked for the US Postal Service and later, for Wal-Mart. She served as the LDS Relief Society President and Young Women's President. She enjoyed reading and researching genealogy. Barbara is survived by her husband of 59 years, William Gaylor of Cottonwood; her son Robert W. (Angela) Gaylor of Wasilla, AK; her daughter, Kristine A. (Lewis) Jennings of Layton, UT and five grandchildren. A graveside service will be held for Barbara on Thursday, September 25, 2014 at Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale, AZ at 1 PM.
