Bring's Memorial Chapel, Tucson, Arizona Grant Branch Greenhalgh February 16, 1918 ~ September 21, 2014 Grant Branch Greenhalgh 96, passed away peacefully at his home in Tucson, September 21, 2014. He was born in Safford, AZ, February 16, 1918. His wife of 62 years, Lorraine Pollock, predeceased him. His son, Ronald (Trelva) Greenhalgh, preceded him in death in 2012. He is survived by daughters, Marilyn (Jim) Busby and Marsha (Jim, deceased) Robertson; 14 grandchildren and 45 of 46 great-grandchildren. Great-grandson, Ronnie Greenhalgh, preceded him in death. Grant graduated Safford High School; attended EAC and BYU, where he participated in football at each school. He served an LDS mission in Holland. A Navy Veteran, he trained pilots during World War II. He spent the majority of his career in the title insurance business, retiring in 1983. Grant served faithfully in the LDS church, including the Mesa LDS temple and a mission with Lorraine to the LDS Atlanta Temple in 1991. He was active in civic and community affairs, including serving on the Arizona Governor's Development board, Safford School Board, President of Safford Rotary Club and President of Graham County Chamber of Commerce. Grant was a beloved father, grandfather and great-grandfather and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with his posterity. He especially enjoyed traveling with family. His great sense of humor and wit drew others to him. He was a volunteer at Mobile Meals in his mid-nineties and parasailed with great-grandchildren at age 92. Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Fort Lowell Chapel, 3750 E. Fort Lowell Rd., Tucson, Wednesday, September 24, 2014, 10:00 a.m. Following the Funeral, a graveside service will be held at Safford Cemetery at approximately 3:00 p.m. Arrangements by BRING'S BROADWAY CHAPEL.
