LIBMAN, Mark J.


The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, September 24, 2014 Mark J. Libman, of Dewey, Ariz., born in Chicago, Ill., on July 20, 1959, to George and Lorraine Libman, passed away from a heart condition. Mark attended the University of Wisconsin and Glassboro State College, New Jersey. He joined The Inglewood, Calif. Police Force from 1981 to 1989, worked for Sturm Ruger for several years, and then as Code Enforcement Officer for the City of Prescott Valley, Ariz. He leaves behind sons, K.C. and Rory Libman of San Pedro, Calif.; mother Lorraine and stepfather George Mooney; brother Todd Libman of Prescott Valley, Ariz.; sister Cheryl Gardner; and nephews Derek and Dillon Gardner of South Elgin, Ill.; and many, many friends. Mark was a devoted father, a loving son and sibling, a dedicated worker, and enthusiastic Harley Davidson rider who cherished his HD club members and fellow riders and police officer colleagues. The family is especially grateful for the loving care Mark received from special friends, Kristi, Lori and Gwen, as well as Alice and Ann of Maggie's Hospice. Thank you Mark for enriching our lives with love, humor, and sensitivity; we will forever love you and miss you. God bless you on your journey to Everlasting Life.
