Mohave Valley Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from Sept. 24 to Oct. 1, 2014 - John R. Marasco, age 74, a 10-year resident of Fort Mohave, Ariz. died at his home on Sunday, September 14, 2014. He was born May 3, 1940 in Braddock, Pa. John was a warehouse worker for 35 years before his retirement. He proudly served his country for three years in the Marines and six years in the Army and was a Viet Nam veteran. John is survived by his wife of 42 years, Dorothy; two sons, Frank Marasco of Lancaster, Calif. and James Marasco of Fort Mohave, Ariz.; daughter, Kathleen Spencer and her husband William of San Diego, Calif.; sister, Mary Jo Sharp of East Pittsburgh, Pa. and three grandsons, William Spencer, (U S Coast Guard), Tristen and Nicholas Spencer of San Diego, Calif.
