The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, September 28, 2014 Michael William Martin, 64, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., died Sept. 22, 2014. Michael graduated from Romeo High School, Romeo, Mich. He received a BS from UofA and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Michael retired from YRMC as the systems coordinator of the cardio pulmonary department. Michael loved the outdoors and spent his free time camping and traveling with his wife of 39 years. Michael is survived by his wife Flora, and sons Matthew of Waterville, Maine, and Gregory of Tucson. He has five grandchildren, Nicole, Alan, Madeleine, Toby and Talia. He is also survived by his parents, William Lyle and Anna Marie Martin, and siblings Mary Ann, Tom, Theresa, Nancy, Ellen, and Barbara. Michael enjoyed his family and spending time with them. Donations can be made to The Grand Canyon Trust or Wildlife Federation. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Oct. 3, 2014, at St. Germaine's in Prescott Valley. A graveside service will follow at 1 p.m. at Prescott National Cemetery (at South Overland Road at Quiet Peace Lane). A reception will be held at St. Germaine's at 2:30 p.m. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements. Information provided by survivors.
