Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Posted: Wednesday, October 1, 2014 - Margaret Virginia Delano “Mickey” passed away Sept. 14, 2014 in Lake Havasu City. She was born Oct. 6, 1921, to the late Jasper “Jack” and Margaret “Maggy” English, in Bakersfield, Calif. Mickey lived in Southern California for most of her life, finally moving to Lake Havasu City 28 years ago. Mickey thrived as a real estate broker, it was her lifelong passion. She was a member of the Arizona Association of Realtors, as well as the California Association of Realtors. She was also a member of the Lake Havasu City Association of Realtors. Being the best was Mickey’s standard and she truly did excel in all areas of life. Mickey knew almost everyone in town and would make new friends everywhere she went. You couldn’t miss her when she was driving her prized red Hummer. She was welcoming to everyone, a great cook, and a loving mother. There was always a special place in Mickey’s heart for animals too. Mickey is survived by her son, Michael Wilson; stepsons, Steve and Robert Wilson; stepdaughter, Yvonne Webb; five grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jasper and Margaret English; husbands, Fred Craven, Bob Wilson and Gordon Delano; son, Jack Wilson; stepson, Terry Wilson; stepdaughter, Paulette Dias; sister, Roberta Forsythe and grandson, Shawn Wilson. A memorial service will take place at 11 a.m., Monday in the Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home chapel. Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
