Winona Willner Teeple, 87, passed away Sept. 27, 2014. She was born in
Tampa, Fla., Dec. 18, 1926. She joined the Navy in 1951, where she met
the love of her life, Bud Teeple. They married in 1953 and had three
children before moving to Lake Havasu City, as pioneers, in 1969. Winona
worked for McCulloch Corporation until she retired.
She devoted her life to Jesus, loved spending time with her family. She
volunteered for Hospice of Havasu for more than 10 years. Winona also
enjoyed singing and was a charter member of the Lake Havasu Community
Choir. She also sang with the Colomonde Chorus and the Community
Presbyterian Church Choir.
Winona is survived by her three children, son, Alan Teeple of Lake
Havasu City; daughters, Lynn (Roger) Lage of Colorado Springs, Colo. and
Tina (Ken) Bonsang of Lake Havasu City; five grandchildren and several
great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday at Community
Presbyterian Church, 3450 Chemehuevi Blvd.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Hospice of Havasu or
Community Presbyterian Church.
Services were placed in the care of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home &
Crematory.
