Prescott Evening Courier, Prescott, Arizona Territory Monday, October 31, 1904, page 3 J. E. Pitzer died yesterday at his residence at 115 S. McCormick street of tuberculosis. Today his remains will be embalmed by H. M. Maus & Co., and tomorrow will be shipped to his relatives at Seattle, Wash. --------------------- Weekly Arizona Journal Miner, Prescott, Arizona Territory Wednesday, November 2, 1904, page 8, column 4 J. E. Pitzer, who arrived here recently from Seattle suffering with consumption died on Sunday and his remains will be shipped to Seattle for burial. Funeral services will be held at the chapel connected with H. M. Maus & Company's undertaking parlors at 9:30 o'clock. Mrs. Alice Hanks of Decatur, Illinois, a sister of deceased, and who has been with him during his illness, will accompany the to Seattle.
