CHAUVIN, Ella Louise

(Maiden Name: Dunn)

The Payson Roundup, Payson, Arizona, Wednesday, October 01, 2014 Ella “Dunn” Louise Chauvin June 18, 1934 - September 21, 2014 Ella Louise (Dunn) Chauvin flew home to Jesus early in the morning of Sunday, Sept. 21, 2014 in Mesa surrounded by her family. She was born June 18, 1934. Ella and Larry moved to Mesa from Windsor, Ont. Canada in 1968; the family discovered Payson and Pine in 1970 and for the next 40 years enjoyed many good times at the Walsh Bros. cabin in Washington Park and trips to Pine. Ella enjoyed sewing and crafting; she made many mother-daughter matching dresses and when her daughters were older she made hundreds of angels and gave them to anyone who wanted one. Ella was a wonderful mum and homemaker; throughout her life she must have baked hundreds of cookies, pies and birthday cakes. Her specialty was Canadian apple pie. Mum and Dad both volunteered at Christ the King Church in Mesa and Mum volunteered at the Pine Strawberry Festival dipping strawberries in chocolate. We, her family are rejoicing that her suffering is over. She leaves behind five daughters, Michelle (Ron) Belle in Mesa, Julia of San Tan Valley, Denise (Dave Prechtel) in Pine, Debbie in Star Valley; two sons, John and Harry in Mesa; grandchildren, Joleen (Mike) of Mesa, Tyler Nevada, Jenna of Mesa, Bretagne (Jonathon) in Hawaii, Gregory; two beautiful great-grandchildren, Ella Michelle and Asher of Mesa; three sisters, Carol (Max), Linda (Paul), Diane in Canada; sister-in-law, Bella Atcherson; nieces, Laura, Yvonne, Cheryl (Bill) in Arizona. And many nieces and nephews and dearest life-long friend Marie Blake in Canada. Mum, we thank you for your loving, beautiful spirit; we miss you profoundly. We will gather in your honor to sing your favorite hymns and raise a cup of Tim Hortons. Abientto. We wish to thank all the Pine and Strawberry friends for their kind words and prayers — Ella Chauvin’s Family.
