Baker Sunrise: February 25, 1929 – Sunset: September 13, 2014 Robert passed away Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Oro Valley Hospital following emergency surgery. Bob grew up in Jacksonville, IL. After graduation from Jacksonville High School, He served three years in the U.S. Air Force. When he returned to Jacksonville after an honorable discharge and graduated from Hardin Brown College. Bob also attended Lewis College, Lockport-Joliet, IL for a short time. Bob had a long career in pharmaceuticals with Pfizer. An avid golfer, Bob played in many tournaments at many different courses throughout the years. He thoroughly enjoyed the fellowship of the game. Bob was a member of the SaddleBrooke Men’s Golf Association, Catalina Elks Club and the Community Church. Bob is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Ruth Ellen Lewis. His two daughters, Kimberly Ann McGovern of Burlington, WA and Jacquelyn Ann Davis of Austin, TX, both of whom he adored. Bob was also the proud Papa of four grandchildren that he loved spending time with, Shannon & Brian McGovern of Burlington, WA and Alexandra and Cameron Davis of Austin, TX.
