Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona, Friday, October 03, 2014 Linda Elaine (Coughlin) Almaraz born June 1, 1951 in Winslow, AZ entered into eternal rest on Sept. 19, 2014 in Flagstaff, AZ. Graduated from Winslow High School in 1969. She worked for Southern Union Gas Company for several years. She then moved to Flagstaff, AZ where she started working at Flagstaff Medical Center in the laboratory until her retirement in April 2013. Elaine loved and was loved by her many clients over the years. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and great grandkids. She met and married Steve Almaraz in January of 1984 and made their home in Flagstaff. Together they enjoyed going to the casino and loved their Cardinals season tickets, which they had for several years. They also enjoyed picking Pinons and watching some baseball games. Elaine was a die hard Raiders fan She is survived by her husband Steve of Flagstaff, AZ; daughters, Tina (Nick) of Winslow, AZ, Cindy (Mark) of Winslow; grandchildren, Stephanie (Dustin) Mild, Justin Mileham, Daniel Lopez, Gabrielle Lopez, Clarissa Wong (J.R.) Amiee Wong; great grandkids, Braedyn Cole, Brooklyn Cole and Riley Jade Perez; sister, Mary K (John) Vanhemert of Joe City, AZ, Edward Coughlin (Tancy) of Winslow and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents Joe and Jean Coughlin & granddaughter Shelby Lynn Lopez. Elaine will be missed by all who knew her. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 PM at Greer’s Chapel on Thursday, Oct. 2. Funeral Services will be held Friday, October 3, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Greer’s Mortuary Chapel.
