BLAILOCK, Henrietta (Grace)


Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona, Sunday, October 05, 2014 Henrietta “Grace” Blailock, formerly of Flagstaff passed away on Saturday September 27th In Belen Mew Mexico. She was born In Hessville, Ohio on April 21, 1926 to Carl and Edna Linder. When she was in her late 20’s she and her friend just up and moved to Denver Colorado where she got a job as an x-ray technician. Grace was an avid square dancer. It was at square dancing where she met her husband to be Robert Blailock. Eventually they Moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico and started a family. On January 1st, 1969 they moved to Flagstaff Arizona (for those of you who remember Flagstaff in the winter of 69 whoa-nelly) she had many duties, wife, mother of three as well as working in the library’s at both NAU and Coconino High School. She loved gardening as anybody who lived in Swiss manor would tell you she had the most beautiful front yard in the area. In 1983 Grace and Robert moved back to the Albuquerque area. She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Carl Linder and Paul Linder, sister Ruth, son Dan Blailock and Son-in-law Andy Artz. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Robert (Belen, NM), daughter Wendy Artz (King Salmon, Ak), son Brian Blailock, and grandchildren Kaci Blailock and Dylan Blailock (Irvine, Ca.) A memorial service celebrating her life will be held at the Presbyterian Church of Belen on October 2nd at 2:00pm.
