Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona, Tuesday, October 07, 2014 JEAN RHONDA YAZZIE went to be with the Lord on September 26, 2014, in Colton California with family by her side . She was 77 years old. She was born on March 9, 1937 in Pinon Arizona. Daughter of and preceded in death by her parents Louis and Lucy Yazzie, two brothers Ross and Jerome, her husband John Vernon Ratcliff Sr. and her son Timothy James Ratcliff. Jean is survived by her oldest son Michael Ray Ratcliff, daughter-in-law Cynthia Ratcliff of Bend, Oregon, younger sons Richard Leroy Ratcliff and John Vernon Ratcliff Jr., both of Flagstaff. Her sister Areta Samuel, brother-in-law Ferguson Samuel and their children of Colton California. Many grandchildren, and many great grandchildren. And her favorite great granddaughter, Dianna Ratcliff. As well as many nephews, nieces, cousins and friends in Arizona, New Mexico and Missouri. Mom loved to go for walks. She walked just about every where she went. Jean lived most of her life in Flagstaff. Mom loved the Lord Jesus with all her heart. She was always reading her bible and talking to others about getting their life right with God. 2 Timothy 4:7 (NKJV) 7 I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith.
