Cemetery: Ned will be laid to rest Thursday, October 16, 2014 at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona 23029 N Cave Creek Road Phoenix AZ 85024.

Ned James Stotler died Oct. 8, 2014. He was born Oct. 25, 1949, in Monte Bello, Calif., the son of Bruce E. and Ruth M. (Bosler) Stotler.
Ned retired from the United States Postal Service after 32 years. He loved talking about sports, especially baseball, and was known for his knowledge of sports trivia. He enjoyed playing a round of golf. He was very much a people-person. He and Barbara were always helping to raise the grandchildren.
Ned is survived by wife Barbara of Prescott, son Michael (Erin) of Carlsbad, Calif., daughters Dawn Marie Sunar of Prescott and Jan Dorfman of Oxnard, Calif., brothers Tim (Bryn) of Prescott and David (Carmilla) of Chino Valley, sister Nancy Stotler of Phoenix, and grandchildren Tristan, Destainy, Blake, Masson, Kayke, and Nikkois.
Visitation will be 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 14, with a Sharing of Memories Service at 6 p.m. at Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home, 303 S. Cortez. Celebration of Ned's life will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2014, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 150 Fleury, with Final Farewell and Commendation on Thursday at the National Cemetery of Arizona in Phoenix.
The family suggests memorials in Ned's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
