WHITEHOUSE, Joseph (Joe)

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Sunday, October 12, 2014 Joseph (Joe) Whitehouse went home to be with the Lord on Oct. 8, 2014. He was born in Ontario, Canada, on Dec. 8, 1925. The family then moved to Vancouver, B.C., where he served in the Royal Canadian Navy in World War II. He and his wife immigrated to California in 1956, then onto Phoenix in 1972. He retired from sales and built his home in Prescott while in his 70s. Joe is survived by his wife Yvonne; three children, Janice Boyce, Patrick Whitehouse and Carrie Hamen; three nieces, seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family would like donations made to Hospice Family Care, who took care of Joe in his final days, 100 E. Sheldon Street, Prescott 86301, 928-541-1740. A memorial service will be held 10:30 a.m. Saturday Oct. 25, at Canyon Bible Church, 8582 E. Eastridge Drive, Prescott Valley. Information provided by survivors.
