James Holden Moore passed away on Tuesday, Sept., 30, 2014, at the age
of 69. He is survived by Brenda, his loving wife of 48 years; his
children, David Moore (Shannon), Patrick Moore (Kelly), Dennis Moore
(Laurel); his sister, Jean Bell; and nine grandchildren.
James was born in Phoenix on Aug. 1, 1945, to Perry and Miriam Moore. He
attended school in Thatcher, Ariz., and was a veteran of the U.S. Coast
Guard. James and Brenda were married in January 1966 and relocated to
Kingman and began raising their family upon his discharge from the USCG.
James worked at the Duval Mine until the mine closed. He then worked in
the automotive and trucking industry. James' hobbies included bass
fishing, boating, calf and team roping and his family. He retired in
2008.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Perry Moore, mom Miriam Moore,
sister Perry Misak, and granddaughter Kailey Shuffler.
A private celebration of his life will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct.
11, 2014, at 3705 Western Avenue, Kingman. He will be missed by his
family and many friends.
