Elgin, age 93, a 12-year resident of Fort Mohave, Ariz. passed away Friday, October 3, 2014. He was born November 12, 1921 in Washburn, Mo. Clifford was a retired carpenter of 50 years. He worked at San Onofre and Diablo Canyon Nuclear Power Plants in Calif. and also as a Wildcat Driller in Wyo. He was a Tec5 in the U.S. Army. He was a past Commander of the American Legion in Rawlins, Wyo., the VFW Post 10005 in Bullhead City, Ariz., and a member of the Elks in Wyo. He was preceded in death by his wife in 2006, Grace Elgin. Clifford is survived by his nephew and niece, Robert and Sonja Luke of Fort Mohave, Ariz. Everyone that knew him well called him "Uncle". He was especially loved by his caretakers, Derrick Lockard and Cindy DeCoste and he loved them in return. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at Desert Lawn Funeral Home, 9250 S. Ranchero Lane, Mohave Valley, Ariz. with Pastor Pet Kinney officiating.
