STONE, Thomas Ray

Mohave Valley Daily News, Mohave Valley, AZ - Published in Mohave Daily News Online from Oct. 12 to Oct. 19, 2014 - Thomas Ray Stone, age 54, passed away on Friday, September 12, 2014 in Fort Mohave, Ariz. after a 4-year battle with Fibrosis of the lungs / Respiratory failure. He was born in Kirkland, Wash. on November 25, 1959 to parents, James and Carol Stone. As a young boy he moved with his family to California and then to Coeur d'Alene, Idaho in his teen years (early 70's). He met his wife, Tamara in 1981 and they married in 1984. Tamara and Thomas spent seven wonderful years riding their motorcycle through Idaho, Washington and Montana. In 1991, they had their son, Tyler, in 1992 they had another son, Todd and another son, Trent in 1998. Thomas loved his boys and enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He also loved motorcycles and cars. He worked as a mechanic for 25 years. He is preceded in death by his father, James Stone; grandparents; and many aunts and uncles. Thomas is survived by his wife, Tamara; sons, Tyler, Todd and Trent; mother, Carol Stone; brother, Merton (Jackie) Stone; and numerous nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2014 at the family's home. This isn't goodbye, It's until we meet again! Desert Lawn Funeral Home 9250 S.
