The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 10/14/2014 Lorraine Debnam Boyer, 70, of Show Low died Saturday, Sept. 13, 2014, after some difficult months of diminished health. She was the only daughter of Rosaline and Ray Debnam, both deceased, of Phoenix. Lorraine is survived by her one brother, Kent (Sonny and Mary) Debnam; son Nevin Boyer; stepdaughter Twila Jean (Bill) Leedle; stepson Danny Ray Boyer; three grandchildren, Michael, Magnum and Oriana; as well as one great-grandchild (soon to be born). Lorraine graduated from Phoenix Union High School in 1962 and worked several secretarial and management positions before she met her husband, Harry E. Boyer, at Empire Machinery in Phoenix and married in 1968. They relocated to the White Mountains in 2001 and Lorraine expanded her career in real estate and managed a temporary labor service. “Lane” was a proud member of AQHA and participated in many quarterhorse shows and gymkhanas, as well as performing with Quadrille De Sol and Quadrille De Mujeres equestrian drill teams all over the Southwest. Lorraine will always be remembered for her friendliness and kindness to others less fortunate. A celebration of life and memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 18, at the Bison Crossing Event Center, 1 N. Preserve Way in Show Low. In lieu of flowers the family has requested that a donation in her name be made to your local 4-H Youth Chapter or Horsemen’s Associations.
