The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 17, 2001, p. A16. Leona I. Smeltzer of Wickenburg, died Jan 9 in the Extended Care Unit at Wickenburg Regional medical Center. She was 88. Mrs. Smeltzer was born June 23, 1912 in Freck, Ark. She had lived in Arizona for the past five years. Survivors include two daughters, Mary Tuttle and Eula Smeltzer, both of Wickenburg; a sister, Neville Methvin; two brothers, Ewell Davis of Yakima, Wash. and Odell Davis of Little Rock, Ark; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and four nieces and nephews.
