MCCLINTON, Walter

Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona, Wednesday, October 08, 2014 Walter McClinton died Sept. 29 at Copper Mountain Inn. He was born in Bakersfield, Calif. on Oct. 13, 1937 to Bela and Bessie McClinton. He moved to Miami in 1951 and graduated from Miami High School in 1956. He worked in the local mines and also construction carpentry. He is survived by his wife Shirley; three sisters, Pat Passey, Jerry McClinton and Marian Le Baron; and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in dead by his half brother, Irving Bentas, two nephews and one niece. A memorial service is scheduled for Oct. 11 at 6 p.m. at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses on Electric Dr., Globe.
