Craig P. Jensen, 61, passed away on Sept. 28, 2014, after a lengthy battle with throat cancer and heart issues.
Craig was born in St. Paul, Minn. He moved to Arizona with his long-time best friend, Jeff Carlson, in February of 1973.
He worked teaching sign language, construction, and as a glazier throughout our community. He loved to listen to music and enjoyed playing his guitar and singing songs he wrote. He was also an avid horse whisperer - he took pride in rehabilitating displaced horses - and he also loved his two cockatiels, Petrie and Maxie. He also took great pride in his love of freedom riding his Harley Davidson. He has touched so many people's lives young and old and always was a safe haven for anyone in need. He was loved and respected by so many and will be greatly missed.
Craig was preceded in death by his son, Benjamin Jensen, in 1983.
Survivors include his daughters, Addie and Joy Jensen, and grandchildren Aerial, Jason, Mikayla, Asher, Isiah, Faith and Lillianne ... whom he loved and cared for deeply.
A celebration of his life will take place in a few weeks. For inquiries about this service, contact Addie Jensen by email at addiesback@gmail.com.
