The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ January 24, 2001, p. A18. Elroy L. Davis of Wickenburg, died Jan. 19. He was 81. Mr. Davis was born Oct. 10, 1919 in Cleveland, Ohio. He had lived in Arizona for the past 17 years, moving here from California in 1983. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans. Survivors include his wife, Frances Davis of Wickenburg; daughters Sherry Garcia of California, Laura Jones of Arizona and Christine Montoya of Texas; 11 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 25, at the First Presbyterian Church of Peoria, 10236 N. 83rd Ave., Peoria. All arrangements were by the Sunland Mortuary of Sun City.
