BEITZEL, William B.

The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona, Wednesday, October 15, 2014 William B. Beitzel, 97, of Prescott Valley, Ariz., passed away on Oct. 11, 2014, in Prescott, Ariz. He was born in Detroit, Mich., on June 2, 1917, to Edward and Bessie (Beaver) Beitzel. He married the love of his life, Helen Menden, on Aug. 11, 1940. They were married 69 1/2-years before she preceded him in death in 2010. He proudly served his country during World War II. He is survived by three children, Patricia Monroe, William P. Beitzel and Victor Beitzel; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. There will be a graveside service 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, at the Mountain View Cemetery, 1051 Willow Creek Road, Prescott, Ariz.
