Norvel Owens Mortuary, Flagstaff, Arizona Martha Kuhn (November 7, 1925 - October 14, 2014) Martha Kuhn passed peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on October 14th. Martha was born in 1925 in Crystal North Dakota as one of 11 children to Thomas and Elida O’Toole. Martha met her husband Richard Kuhn in 1949 in Columbus Montana where Martha taught school and Richard worked for The Texas Company. They were married on June 11, 1949 in Crystal North Dakota. Martha and Richard moved to Flagstaff in 1957 where Richard taught school and Martha raised her children and many grandchildren. They celebrated their 65th wedding anniversary in July of 2014 along with Richard’s 90th birthday with family and friends. Martha was an active member of the Saint Francis de Asis Catholic Church where she sang in the choir for 50 years and volunteered for St. Vincent De Paul. Martha is succeeded in death by her loving husband Richard Kuhn. Her 9 children, 19 grandchildren and 5 great children; Eric Kuhn (Sue, Hallie & MacKenzie), Beth Kuhn-Geatches (Don), Mary Kuhn-Greco (Jack, Kate, Robert & Harper Bea), Tom Kuhn (Leslie, Thomas, Alexis, Cheyenne & Madelyn), Cyndi Kuhn-Fiello (Nick, Nicholas, Jonathan, Daniel, Addy & Emma), Bob Kuhn (Cheryl, Nicole, Sarah & Hunter), Jim Kuhn (Mindy, Ryan & Brandon), Dan Kuhn (Kris, Sam, Lou & Nora), Jane Kuhn-Pavon (Steve, Alex & Jake) and her two brothers and sister, Dick O’Toole, Billy O’Toole and Esther Pessler. Funeral mass will be said on Saturday October 18th at the Saint Francis de Asis Catholic Church at 1pm. In lieu of flowers please send donations to St. Vincent de Paul or the Saint Francis de Asis school fund.
